Well known as the front woman for iconic Australian band, Magic Dirt, Adalita will be playing in solo mode throughout Victoria.

Adalita played her first ever solo gigs in Sydney last week and anointed old and new fans with a string of new intense and sparse arrangements. So she is excited to be hitting home territory in Victoria with regional residencies at the Sand Bar, The National Hotel and The Loft.

The shows feature brand new songs in Adalita's pared back, dark style with just electric guitar and voice with a couple of rare Magic Dirt covers thrown in for good measure. She is currently in the midst of recording her debut solo album and is eager to road test the new material before heading back into the studio.

Adalita is hoping to release her album in early 2010.
