After spending a good chunk of ’08 in and out of European rock’n roll clubs, Dallas Crane’s singer/songwriter Dave Larkin hit the ground running on his return to the homeland with a new, bigger, badder rock’n roll monster than before, now known to the world as Gun Street Girls. It seems already that the band have cultivated a handsome following, with an even bigger dose of that live gusto and champion songwriting that drew so many devout loyalists to his previous band. This time he’s flanked by Double Agent’s Dave Butterworth on bass, and Callum Barter on drums and by the sound of things so far, the debut album, due out mid ’09, promises to be nothing short of magnificent. |
